About the role
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing WRA’s overall business development and marketing strategies. This position will direct WRA’s marketing objectives, strategies, business development and management, for the state of Oklahoma.
Essential Duties
- Strategic Planning – Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, encompassing client relationships, client interviews, events / sponsorships, and brand marketing.
- Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals including marketing, business development, and practice employees.
- Brand Management – Oversee brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing materials and maintaining a strong brand presence in the market.
- Market Research – Conduct market analysis to identify target clients, understand competitor landscape, and inform marketing strategy.
- Performance Monitoring – Track key marketing metrics and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Collaboration – Work closely with Director of Marketing (TX), Director of Educational Planning, Director of Business Development, and other team members to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Communication – Effectively communicate marketing strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensures availability to staff, team building, building rapport with individuals, encouraging strong collaborative relationships between individuals and departments, solicits and applies feedback, and offers self-improvement to staff.
- Previous PS front office experience valued, knowledge of school funding and / or district budgeting valued, knowledge of current concerns of school leaders across all communities - valued.
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Facilitates improvement processes regarding team performance.
- Regional travel as needed and travel to Texas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must be able to access all components of the workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
