Traffic Control Trainer

Are you a Traffic Control Expert with a passion for training and development? We're seeking a dynamic Traffic Control Trainer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their career with a company that values its employees and prioritizes safety.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver comprehensive traffic control training programs aligned with NCDOT standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct classroom and field training sessions for a diverse audience, including new hires and experienced professionals.
- Create and maintain engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and job aids.
- Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to improve knowledge and skills.
- Stay current with the latest traffic control regulations, standards, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and safety officers to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
- Travel to various project sites and attend industry conferences to represent the company and promote safety.
- Strong understanding of NCDOT traffic control standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to teach and train a diverse audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience as a traffic control flagger or supervisor
- Certification in traffic control safety
- Experience developing and delivering training programs
