Job Description

This position is open due to the upcoming busy peak season, and there is an opportunity for permanent employment after the contract period. The primary function of this role is to deliver, install, and pick up portable AC units daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 14' or 16' box truck to various client locations.
• Deliver, install, and pick up portable air conditioning units from offices, retail spaces, or warehouses.
• Respond to client calls for installation or pick-up.
• Drive around regions including Easy Bay, North Bay, Monterey, Sacramento, and Stockton.
• Train on running portable duct work into ceilings at client sites and turning on the AC.
• Use basic hand tools for installation.
• Load and unloads on and off the truck using a ramp.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain flexibility with the schedule, being on call during busy seasons including weekends.

Work Environment

80% of the day will be spent on the road, with the remaining 15% spent in the warehouse. Duties in the warehouse include keeping the truck clean, organizing inventory, and stocking the truck with necessary items for installations.
