Job Summary : The Associate EPC Project Manager is responsible for supporting small to lower complexity projects in the execution of energy-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role involves planning, implementing, quality control, status reporting, and closing assigned project tasks, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders .
Duties & Responsibilities :
Essential Duties :
- Support the planning and execution of the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP), including the preparation of project plans, schedule planning, and other standardized project management deliverables. Ensure that scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
- Assist with financial forecasting, monitor, and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures related to the project.
- Develop and manage overall project execution plans, tracking project metrics, and ensuring that the project is progressing as expected.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules in collaboration with the Project Scheduling group, including setting schedule concepts, constraints, risk integration, and mitigation strategies. Track and communicate project schedules to the project team.
- Communicate and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders, including third-party agencies, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and constraints to ensure successful project execution. Develop contingency plans as needed.
- Recommend new processes, techniques, and standards for performance improvement and problem-solving on existing projects.
- Provide support in Substation Program Management activities, such as data gathering, hosting meetings with stakeholders, and developing necessary reports.
