Job Title : Senior Tax Manager
Location : Midtown Sacramento
Job Type : Full-time
Company Overview : Company is a boutique accounting firm dedicated to providing excellent tax, accounting, and advisory services for their cliental. They offer a collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and future partnership potential.
Responsibilities :
Review and manage tax returns for a diverse range of clientele, including S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
Conduct complex tax research and provide strategic tax advice.
Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices.
Maintain and develop client relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Assist with monthly and quarterly close items and SOX documentation.
Train, mentor, and develop staff.
Qualifications :
Active CPA license required.
Bachelor's Degree required (MST is a plus).
Experience in individual, business, and trust tax compliance and planning is a plus.
Experience in Lacerte and in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online is a plus.
A friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual who loves the challenge of identifying problems and looking for solutions.
Strong desire for career advancement and long-term client relationship development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation :
140K - $170K base salary
