Operate & / or maintain stationary engines, boilers, or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings or industrial processes. Operate equipment, such as steam fed heat exchangers, generators, motors, pumps, and steam boilers. Operates and maintains medical equipment (such as Vacuum Pumps and Medical Air Compressors), HVAC systems and other auxiliary equipment necessary to support operations of the hospital with uninterrupted services.

Required qualifications :
- Associate's Degree - Any mechanical field such as HVAC, Welding, Plumbing, Biomechanical, Mechatronics, etc. combined with 3 years Stationary Engineer experience working in a power plant or central utility plant. Or 5 years of Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS
- Upon hire : Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer – Unlimited HP License.
- Upon hire : California Drivers License.
- Within 30 days of hire : California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization.
- 5 years Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS.
