Job Title : Upper School Resource Teacher (Grades 6-12)
Job Type : Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resource Teacher for our Upper School (Grades 6-12) to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. This full-time position involves providing push-in and pull-out services to a caseload of approximately 20 students. The ideal candidate will have experience in a resource room setting and a passion for working with middle and high school students.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide push-in and pull-out services to students in Grades 6-12, supporting their academic progress and individualized learning needs.
Work closely with general education teachers to ensure students are fully supported in their classrooms.
Collaborate with other staff members, including teaching assistants, to implement instructional strategies and accommodations for students.
Offer one-on-one or small group instruction to students in subjects where they need additional support.
Track student progress and provide ongoing assessments to adjust instructional approaches as needed.
Caseload :
Approximately 20 students, with a mix of academic needs.
Additional staff will be available to help manage the caseload, providing support in a collaborative environment.
