Job Overview :
As a Special Forces Candidate, youll be training to become a Green Beret, one of the most highly-skilled Soldiers in the world. To join the Army elite, you must
complete extensive mental and physical training. There are four entry-level Special Forces Military Occupational Specialties, and your specialty will be decided based on your background, aptitude, and the needs of the Army.
Requirements :
4-week Special Operations Preparation Course and the Special Forces Assessment & Selection Program following Airborne School and Psychological Operations Specialist Qualification Course
Special Forces Qualification Course
22 weeks of Infantry One Station Unit Training
110 ASVAB Score General Technical (GT)
100 ASVAB Score Combat (CO)
U.S. Citizen

- 18X OFFERS A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP. While citizenship is a requirement for passing a secret security clearance, Lawful Permanent Residents can immediately begin 18X training. If you've had a valid Green Card (officially known as an I-551 Permanent Resident Card) for at least six months, you can apply for expedited naturalization and candidacy for the Special Forces through MOS 18X. Work with a recruiter to get started.
