Job descriptionIndependent Contractor (1099) – Enjoy the flexibility of working on your own terms. Fully Remote – Conduct reviews from anywhere in the U.S. (in compliance with HIPAA regulations). Malpractice Coverage Provided – Covered under MRIoA’s Errors & Omissions policy (traditional malpractice insurance is not required).
JOB OPPORTUNITY : PEDIATRIC UTILIZATION REVIEWER (REMOTE, 1099)
Looking to share your expertise with minimal time commitment? Join Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) as an Independent Medical Reviewer and contribute to the Utilization Review / Peer Review process —all while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.! A Current New Mexico medical license is required.
WHY CONSIDER REVIEW WORK?
- Stay Ahead – Keep up with evolving treatment trends and best practices used by fellow Pediatricians
- Advocate for Care – Gain valuable insight into the approval process, helping you navigate authorizations for your own patients.
- Flexibility – Work as little as 1-2 hours per week (with no minimum requirement). Most cases take 30-60 minutes to complete.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS :
QUALIFICATIONS :
Board-Certified MD or DO in Pediatrics
Minimum 5 years of patient care experience in Pediatrics
Active, unrestricted New Mexico medical license
Strong computer navigation skills
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder ( unable to sponsor visas )
