Position : School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Kansas City, MO
Start Date : ASAP
End Date : Through End of Year (EOY)
Hours : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate : $43-$48 per hour
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Kansas City, MO . This position offers an immediate start and will cover two different leaves of absence, providing a unique opportunity to work with a diverse student population.
Assignment Details :
- Duration : Immediate start date through at least March 20, 2024.
- Schedule : 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
- Hours : 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.
- Caseload :
- Early Childhood : 3-5 years old through mid-January.
- K-5 Elementary School from the end of January through March.
- Workload :
- Serve a total of approximately 35 students in self-contained classrooms.
- Provide support to students utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) supports.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to assess students' speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess and evaluate students to identify communication disorders.
