We’re a James Beard Award-winning operation at the happy intersection of wine, dinner and ice cream. Are we a wine shop? Are we a cave à manger? Are we an e-commerce start-up? We’re all of the above.
As the shop grows, we’re seeking an experienced, versatile wine and service pro to contribute to every aspect of this operation — including service, shopkeeping, training and logistics — with a well-rounded, Swiss army knife affinity for all aspects of our fast-paced, multi-tasking operation.
We are searching for someone who thrives as a self-motivated member of a creative, problem-solving team; genuinely gets a kick out of interacting with people; enjoys being busy and is unflappable under pressure; has an advanced base of wine knowledge; is highly organized and detail-oriented; and consistently brings positive collaborative energy to the table. This is a physical job, requiring lots of hustle, initiative and an intrinsic sense of urgency.
The right candidate will have at least five years of professional wine and service experience — though we value humility, good humor and positivity over resumes and fancy certifications. Are you over fine dining? We just might be the place for you.
This is a full-time position with competitive wages, benefits, paid days off and discounts on wine / food / ice cream. The schedule will likely be Tuesday-Saturday (perhaps occasionally Wednesday-Sunday); no super early mornings or brutal late nights.
