Job Description :
- Position : Quality Systems Engineer
- Location : Sterling Heights, MI
- Duration : 12 months (Contractor role with ability to extend or be directly hired)
- Pay Rate : $38.36 per hour
- Work Schedule : 9 / 80
- Start Date : TBD
- The Quality Vehicle Systems Engineer is integrated into a dynamic and diverse team responsible for acceptance testing of prototype tracked and wheeled military vehicles, including main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers
- Determine & evaluate test requirements
- Develop & revise acceptance test procedures
- Conduct vehicle verification checkouts to establish baseline of test assets
- Execute functional acceptance test procedures
- Document status of testing compliances and deficiencies
- Communicate test results to internal and external customers as required
- Support other areas of Engineering Quality Assurance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership responsible for maintenance
