Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8-12 years of expertise in mechanical design, particularly with sheet metal, weldments, diecast aluminum, and injection-molded plastic. In this role, you will be responsible for designing custom assemblies for power distribution equipment, mounting brackets, and vertical structures tailored to the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), using both rough hand calculations and ANSYS for validation. A sharp attention to detail and a focus on quality are essential for success. The position requires the design and documentation of parts, assemblies, and the overall management of project development from conception to production. If you are solution-driven and have a commitment to excellence, you will thrive in our dynamic culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop custom assemblies for power distribution equipment, mounting brackets, and monopoles.
- Conduct FEA simulations using ANSYS and hand calculations to validate designs.
- Manage projects from initial concept through to full-scale production.
- Create and maintain detailed product assemblies, parts, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality results and successful project completion.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on detail and deadlines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
