We are focused on the safe and proper handling of all materials that are temperature-sensitive or dry freight, including medical pharmaceutical supplies, frozen foods, refrigerated produce, household goods, and more.
Who Were Looking For
ShipEX is looking for an experienced security professional to fill the role of Security Guard position. Candidates should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills for various types of issues or concerns. Written communication skills are also critical, especially for data entry and security protocols. The schedule that is currently available is Sunday - Tuesday / Wednesday from 6 am to 6 pm.
Primary Focus & Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and Controlling access to the facility
- Complete thorough inspections of company equipment upon arrival and departure
- Enter accurate information into the systems
- Audit equipment in the terminal and inventory lists
- Patrol and monitor assigned areas; report suspicious activities to local authorities
- Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
- Secure the facility and company equipment, and report any issues found
- Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property
- Reasonably detain persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
- Escort discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises
- Performs other related duties as assigned
