The Department of Rehabilitation serves Californians with disabilities resulting in employment, independence and equality. The Department seeks a Seasonal Clerk to join our cohesive team. Duties include : Providing clerical support to office staff as receptionist, answer phones or assisting / speaking with the public and looking up information as directed. Fax or photocopying documents, creating and organizing files, filing documents, and assisting in compiling or tabulating simple numerical data as directed. Process incoming mail by sorting and distributing; process outgoing mail by stuffing envelopes, addressing envelopes, etc.

Working Conditions
Seasonal Clerks are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. The anticipated time worked will be 125 hours per month. If selected, the employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.

Employment Application (STD.678) :
