Position Details :

Location : Albuquerque, NM

Shift Hours : Day shifts

Position Type : Freight (Delivery)

Seasonal Position will end around September 2025

You’ll be a Great Fit if :

You have at least 3 months’ driving experience.

You hold a valid Driver's License and are 21 years or older.

You are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles.

You can lift and carry 70-160 lbs.

Can drive both 10 speed manual and automatic transmissions.

You can work outside in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Previous experience in delivery is an advantage.

Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Must be able to perform essential functions with minimal supervision.

Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities :

Deliver products to convenience stores Liquors stores, grocery stores on an established local route.

Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints or discrepancies as needed.

Rotate displays, coolers, and back stock for freshness and quality.

Operate hand trucks and / or electric pallet jacks to unload the truck.

Construct and arrange product displays to attract attention and maximize sales.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, coolers, and displays.

Transfer product from stock rooms to designated floor or cooler displays to meet "Sell By" dates.

Collect empty containers and pick up unsold merchandise.

Perform truck loading / unloading and secure loads.

Record delivery, buyback, and variance information in daily records.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, including obtaining customer signatures for deliveries.

Qualifications :

Education & Experience : High school diploma or GED. 1 to 3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Communication Skills : Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, including in one-on-one or small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills : Able to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Reasoning skills : Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment :

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Moderate noise level.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
