Job Title : SAP S4 HANA

Location : Austin, TX

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration :

Install, configure, and maintain SAP S / 4HANA systems, including application servers, databases (HANA), and related components.

Manage system landscapes (Development, QA, and Production) and transport management.

Perform system copies, backups, and restores.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization :

Monitor system health, performance, and availability using tools like SAP Solution Manager.

Conduct system tuning and performance optimization for HANA databases and SAP applications.

Security & Compliance :

Manage user roles, authorizations, and profiles following security best practices.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations (GDPR, SOX, etc.).

Upgrades & Patches :

Apply SAP Notes, patches, kernel updates, and HANA DB upgrades.

Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations (e.g., ECC to S / 4HANA).

Disaster Recovery & High Availability :

Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for S / 4HANA.

Conduct regular DR drills and backup verifications.

Collaboration & Support :

Work closely with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, and BASIS teams.

Provide Level 2 / 3 support for incidents and service requests.

Assist in SAP project implementations, including system sizing and landscape planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of SAP Basis / System Administration experience, with at least 2 years in SAP S / 4HANA.

Strong knowledge of HANA database administration and optimization.

Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.

Proficiency in Linux / Unix environments and networking concepts.

Familiarity with backup tools (e.g., HANA Studio, SAP HANA Cockpit) and high-availability setups.

Knowledge of SAP security, roles, and authorization management.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA or S / 4HANA System Administration.

Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAP hosting.

Exposure to SAP BW / 4HANA, SAP Gateway, or SAP PI / PO.

Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools (SUM, DMO, SWPM).
