What You Will Do-

• Responsible for overseeing and directing daily safety practices and team compliance with safety practices in the Austin & San Antonio region.
• Reviewing, updating, and implementing safety policies and procedures, as needed.
• Sustain a consistent field presence to assess safety gaps and implementation of established programs.
• Maintain safety records associated with the duties defined.
• Track and report out on established Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Perform inventory and inspection of safety equipment such as fire protection equipment, PPE, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, etc.
• Audit safety inspection program. Follow up on issues identified during the inspections to make sure they are resolved.
• Perform site security inspections and correct any gaps identified.
• Schedule and organize emergency response drills.
• Perform contractor safety orientations.
• Maintain inventory and order safety supplies & equipment.
• Serve on the emergency response team.
• Other duties as assigned.
