Summary of Position :
The Staff Accountant records non-op revenue from the sale of oil and gas production by the Company and works with Division Orders on responding to owner relation questions.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Obtain non-op purchaser detail for funds wired directly into bank accounts.
- Enter non-op revenue detail in Bolo accounting system.
- Enter routine and non-routine journal entries in Bolo accounting system.
- Void and re-issue revenue checks.
- Help process reverse and rebooks during month-end close.
- Prepare and file quarterly Colorado conservation tax.
- Coordinate with Division Orders and respond to owner relations questions through Sales Force.
- Prepare the month end non-op revenue accruals to support the month end financial reporting process.
- Update and maintain monthly reconciliations.
- Process revenue owner adjustments as needed / requested.
- Assist department in maintaining compliance within Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), US and other relevant GAAP, and company policies.
- Prepare revenue source documentation for audit requests and other special projects as assigned.
- Assure all work performed adheres to CIVI standards.
- Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

Base Pay Range : $62,000 - $72,000
