Job Description : Real Estate Paralegal
Location : Coral Gables, FL
Position : Real Estate Paralegal
Overview : A prestigious Real Estate Law Firm in Coral Gables is seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial real estate transactions and will be responsible for coordinating due diligence, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Essential Functions :
Coordinate due diligence for various residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and borrowings.
Review and summarize title commitments and surveys.
Work closely with title companies to clear title and obtain title policies.
Utilize closing platforms, specifically Qualia.
Prepare and file a variety of documents, including deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, UCC financing statements, etc.
Obtain permits and other necessary documents from agencies.
Prepare and distribute closing binders.
Prepare closing checklists and coordinate the closing process for various commercial real estate transactions.
Understand real estate law, title reviews, foreclosures, REOs, financing, and lending documents.
Manage real estate transactions from the initial contract through closing.
Collaborate with attorneys in preparation for transactions, coordinating efforts between outside counsel, lenders, borrowers, sellers, and other business contacts.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years of residential / commercial real estate experience.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
Qualified Candidates Should Possess :
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product to both attorneys and clients.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
