Role

Clarity Innovations is looking for an experienced writer to join a collaborative team in delivering winning proposals to Federal Government evaluators.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and own the proposal response from development through delivery
• Iteratively improve drafts using APMP / Shipley’s process
• Independently lead RFI / whitepaper responses
• Coordinate, participate in, and / or lead proposal planning and process check-in meetings
• Develop compelling narratives that engage readers and facilitate their understanding of complex technical material
• Review and edit section authors’ submissions for compelling-ness, completeness, and compliance
• Enact sound narrative and grammatical techniques for persuasive, clear, concise, and compelling writing
• Coordinate proposal graphics with graphic designers
• Conduct research and subject matter expert interviews
• Serve as book boss, volume lead, and / or section author for a variety of responses
• Provide feedback and mentoring to improve writing and the response process
• Use Clarity’s voice and writing style throughout their work products
• Maintain and control documents through good CM practice
• Communicate effectively with all contributors through written and verbal means
• Attend meetings in-person to adhere to security requirements
