Project Manager – Alternative Project Delivery
Location : Springfield, IL, Chicago, IL, Aurora, IL, St. Louis, MO
Salary Range : $90,000 - $130,000
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc . (CMT) is a full-service civil engineering and consulting firm with a dedicated team comprised of engineers, planners, and subject matter experts. Our team is seeking to add a talented, experienced Project Manager for Alternative Project Delivery to our Surface Transportation Team. The selected candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading Surface Transportation professionals in delivering quality projects, the ability to work as a team member, function in a business development and client management role, and possess a strong desire to grow and mentor people within our dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities :
- Delivery of Alternative Projects, such as Design-Build and Construction Manager / General Contractor projects, both as a proposer and as an Owner’s Representative for transportation projects
- Participate / Lead project identification, teaming strategy, identify risks, teaming agreements and pursuits for Alternative Delivery Projects
- As Owner’s Representative, assist and support public sector clients in the delivery of Alternative Delivery Projects including managing risks, project determination and preparation of contract documents.
- Perform and lead projects including client management, supervising and directing junior staff in support of the group manager and the team at large
- Work with municipalities, county highway departments, and state transportation departments across all our locations
- Planning, design, and project management of civil & transportation projects. Work on a variety of transportation projects including rural highways, city streets, and multi-modal trails
- Leadership opportunity available
- Work with clients developing project ideas, funding plans, and implementation strategies
- Serve as a client manager or the ability / desire to grow into a client-facing professional capable of delivering high quality products and services to our clients
- Identification and pursuit of business opportunities
- Engagement of clients, agencies and other professionals within the aviation industry
