Salary : $37.60 / hr. - $40.75 / hr. (nonbilingual), $40.98 / hr. - $44.42 / hr. (bilingual Spanish).

Job Summary :

The Program Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program. This position will work closely with the Program Manager and Program Director to support supervision, onboarding and oversight of IECMHC program services to early childhood care and education and home visiting programs. Collaborates with community partners and funders. Current Morrison EC Consultants may apply for this 0.5 FTE Program Supervisor position while maintaining their full-time status by continuing their EC Consultant role at 0.5 FTE. Please note that consultation responsibilities will remain distinct and separate from Program Supervisor duties, with no overlap between the two positions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support the daily operations of the Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation program.
  • Support facilitation of team meetings and provide group consultation opportunities for Infant / Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants
  • Provide individual reflective supervision to IECMH Consultants.
  • Oversee program components, monitor fidelity and services delivery to program models (Early Childhood Positive Behavior Intervention supports / Pyramid Model, The Incredible Years, Circle of Security Parenting, etc.), and support quality improvement and data collection activities.
  • Support supervision and oversight of Program MSW interns, when applicable.
  • Support data tracking and collection efforts; Participate in program Quality Improvement meetings.
  • Oversee on-boarding planning / scheduling of new IECMH Consultants.
  • Support coordinate of IECMHC services with community partner programs including monitoring of service agreements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and implementing the Sanctuary Model. Participate in the practice and continuing implementation of the Sanctuary Model, including program's E&I initiatives.
  • Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to equity and inclusion in the workplace; model appropriate behaviors; develop, recommend, and implement improvements to business practices with awareness and understanding of the impact in a trauma-informed and culturally diverse organization.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program / department.
  • Competencies :
  • Familiarity with best practices in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health and evidenced based models of care; skills in fidelity monitoring
  • Skills in clinical supervision, recruiting, hiring and team development, and managing conflict.
  • Strong computer / technical skills including comfort with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with program data collection and analysis including use of electronic databases (e.g. Electronic Health Record systems).
  • Ability to represent Morrison Child & Family Services and the program and establish and maintain professional communication, exercise and maintain tact, discretion and judgement in stressful or political situations.
  • Demonstrates openness to growth and change, social responsibility, and contributes to a trauma-informed and equitable work culture at Morrison.
  • Able to provide culturally responsive care and hold each other and yourself accountable to the diversity and uniqueness of all individuals within Morrison, our clients and our community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.

  • Required Position Qualifications : (Minimum qualifications required to be considered for hire into this position)

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or related field.
  • Clinical licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or seeking licensure with a plan to obtain within six months of entering this position.
  • Three years of experience in the provision of social services related to infant / early childhood care.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Background in early childhood mental health services including assessment, treatment and case management / coordination of care
  • Preferred Position Qualifications : (preference may be given to those who hold these qualifications; however, candidates who meet the required position qualifications are encouraged to apply)

  • Two years of supervisory experience in mental / behavioral health or early childhood setting.
  • Minimum three years providing IECMH Consultation services.
  • Experience with grant funding and reporting.
  • Infant / Toddler Mental Health Certificate and / or Infant Mental Health Endorsement
  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish)
  • Other Requirements :

  • Able to work shift hours and days, as assigned. Position may require work outside of usual work hours on occasion. May require "Supervisor On-call" duties.
  • Able to pass a comprehensive criminal history background investigation.
  • For positions that require driving :

  • Hold a valid drivers' license. Must be licensed in Oregon or Washington within 30 days of hire
  • Personal transportation allowing for travel within the greater Portland metropolitan area in a timely manner.
  • If driving a personal vehicle, you must meet the agency driving requirements.
  • Physical demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms; talk and hear. Visual abilities include close and distance vision. Occasionally this position requires walking, stooping, bending and lifting, up to 10 pounds, without assistance.

    Work environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a noise level of large groups of people. Position works in an office environment. Outside weather conditions during travel time. Possible exposure to communicable diseases which can encompass a variety of illnesses and infections, including tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, B, and C, infectious meningitis, and HIV.
