Job Description Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for assessing, evaluating, coordinating, and integrating the various stages of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through execution. This role serves as a central hub, aligning the product’s development with strategic inputs from across the organization and ensuring that all functional contributions cohere into a comprehensive product strategy. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical, marketing, sales, and external partners, to deliver outstanding customer-centric products and services.

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and definition of the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collect, analyze, make recommendations, prioritize, and address product and customer needs that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
  • Coordinate competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions.
  • Drive product innovation and manage the lifecycle from inception to phase-out.
  • Oversee product-related deliverables, which may include PRDs, metrics, budgets, forecasts, pricing, and performance measures.
  • Facilitate, understand, influence, manage expectations, and build relationships with cross-functional teams and partner collaborations to achieve product objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a related industry.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Finance & Accounting Systems, preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of the FinTech landscape, with a focus on payment and treasury systems.
  • Proficiency in basic data modeling, JSON, and XML.
  • Working knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to use data and metrics to support decisions and develop business cases.
  • Understanding of cloud computing, SaaS models, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented setting.
