Senior Kitchen Porter - Relocation Opportunity - Braemar, Scotland

Recently awarded Aberdeen City & Shire Hospitality Employer of the Year, as well as 2 Michelin Keys, and rated number 1 by Conde Naste Readers Choice, The Fife Arms Hotel, located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, is recruiting a Senior Kitchen Porter to join the team!

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellent service and a desire to develop.

Responsible for the team of Kitchen Porters, your responsibilities include :

• The day-to-day cleanliness and organisation of the main kitchen (through the Kitchen Porter team), the prep kitchen, the storerooms, the fridges, and other back of house areas including the refuse area.
• Managing the waste management systems, ensuring that rubbish is correctly sorted and compacted, with assistance from other departments.
• Working closely with hotel team leaders to ensure back of house areas relating to hotel operations are effectively maintained, cleaned, and organised.
• Ensuring that ongoing training of the Kitchen Porters is carried out to maintain adherence to allocated tasks.

Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment and supervising a team is an advantage!
