Department : UCHealth Eye Center Anschutz

FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary : Operates specialized ophthalmic equipment. Performs ophthalmic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Under the direct supervision of the eye care provider, assists with performing patient care.
• Under the direction and supervision of an eye care provider : Performs diagnostic testing. Administers intravenous agents in preparation for retinal angiography. Performs clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area. Provides education to students, residents and staff; assists in orienting and mentoring staff.
• Provides documentation, patient education and enters charges.
• Manages patient care and assists with patient flow.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
