Performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist with occasional guidance. Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and / or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Non-Certified role with RSG :

• Answering patient calls (our dept average daily call volume is 500+ calls)
• Setting up orders by verifying drug names, strengths and shipping address
• Adding credit cards to orders using secure lines and pin pad machines
• Checking voicemails
• Navigating the pharmacy system (McKesson’s ERx / Enterprise Rx)
• Using Microsoft Team and Outlook email daily
• Office setting / cubicle desk area.
• Dress code : business casual, jeans (no rips or holes), Vanderbilt T-shirts or plain shirts (no graphics), and scrubs.

Hours / Shifts : M-F between 8am-530pm
