RESPONSIBILITIES

In close coordination with the SETA program and Special Security Office, being in this role will require
Developing, disseminating, and presenting and tracking all training materials
Performing data entries to the current personnel security database and maintaining personnel security files for all personnel supported by the SSO
Conducting Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), DISS, and SF 86 reviews of candidates being submitted for SCI access
Processing any and all incoming and outgoing visit requests for the SSO
Conducting screening interviews and indoctrination briefings to indoctrinate SCI personnel

Requirements

A Bachelors Degree from an accreditedncollege / university and five (5) years of experience related to personnelnsecurity.Allowable substitution - High School Diploma ornGeneral Education Diploma (GED) with at least nine (9) years of experience innpersonnel security.

Five (5) years of experience reflecting andemonstrated knowledge of personnel security policies and procedures. Thisnexperience includes :

Reviewing background investigations and case filesnfor security relevant information;

Preparing accurate and concise synopses for eachncase;

Developing recommendations with supportingnrationale to enable the customer to decide whether to grant, deny, or revoke ansecurity clearance or eligibility to occupy sensitive positions; and

Checking the status of pending cases. Preparenwritten reports and briefings as required.

Three (3) years of experience in :

Reviewing forms to ensure accuracy in accordancenwith policy and directives.

Maintaining personnel security files and suspensenlogs for all phases of the personnel security process, coordinatesnfingerprinting, and submission of unclassified material.

Proficient with :

Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Familiaritynin Security Information Management System Software (SIMS).
