Department Overview : This 24-bed Medicine Unit is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Technician to support our nursing team! Our diverse patient population includes but is not limited to CHF, sickle cell, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, wound care and, an assortment of varying disease processes. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission / discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse.
