The Registration Manager plans, organizes, directs, and supervises non-professional staff in the administering of excellent patient care and customer service. Responsible for managing and overseeing the entire operations of all registration / admissions areas. Directly responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring processes associated with the patient access function. Development and administration of staff development, training, hiring, coaching, discipline, and accountability associated with job performance.
Responsibilities / expectations can be summarized into two basic categories : a) high performing and efficient management of routine processes, and b) rapport building and maintenance with other departments and registration.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Associate degree or BBA preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Two years of job related experience.
REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
CHAA certification preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Must be computer literate; possess good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills.
