Bosch Research is looking for an intern in electrochemical modelling technologies. Our goal is to enable improved Bosch products through deep understanding of thermodynamic kinetic and transport phenomena at the mesoscale level using a variety of computational tools. Strong focus is placed on development and application of computational methods for understanding of nextgeneration materials primarily for electrochemistry and energy conversion.

In this particular position the intern will contribute to the modeling of degradation mechanisms in protonexchangemembrane electrolyzers. The goal is the accurate prediction of the aging kinetics for iridium in the anode catalyst layer under various operating conditions.

Qualifications :

Required Qualification :

• Pursuing a graduate degree at a top university in applied mathematics chemical engineering mechanical engineering or a related field.
• The candidate should have a strong foundation in computation and mathematics with a focus on electrochemistry heat transfer mass transfer and chemical kinetics.
• Attention to detail flexibility creativity excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.

The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $30.00$63.00 per hour. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to type of degree work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role type of position job location etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
