Job description

POSITION : Production Ministry Lead - ATX

DEPARTMENT : Production

STATUS & FLSA : Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY : The Production Ministry Lead at Red Rocks Austin will oversee the preparation and execution of all production needs (present and future) for all areas of ministry : Weekend Services, Youth, Classes, Red Rocks Kids, Ministry Trainings, Special Needs, and Serve Teams.

PRODUCTION LEAD TECHNICAL & PASTORAL EXPECTATIONS :

Prepare the building to confirm all production systems / equipment is ready for use in the lobby, auditorium, Red Rocks Kids, online stream, and overflow areas with excellent standards of production.
Maintain a clean and presentable auditorium and working space.
Prepare and execute all weekend services by programming lights, time-coding assets, inputting correct lyrics (English / Spanish) into Pro-Presenter, leading production teams, coordinating with pastors and worship team, and troubleshooting production needs.
Ensure video cut of sermon / service is uploaded in adequate time to YouTube after weekend services.
Coordinate with other staff ministry leads for production needs through Asana.
Meet with WEX (Weekend Experience) Ministry Lead weekly for check-in & production needs.
Lead pre-service huddle with energy, clarity and pastoral encouragement.
Oversee monthly scheduling, training, team culture, and care of all production team members.
Recruit future team members at Welcome Party and onboard them through proper channels of workflow; first looks, shadows, and training.
Host quarterly team-building events and take individual team members to coffee / lunch.

GLOBAL RED ROCKS PRODUCTION EXPECTATIONS

Work with the ELT & Central Production Team to receive and upload current series / event assets and test in a timely manner prior to weekend services and events.

Keep stage design up-to-date and unified with all Red Rocks locations.

Responsible for implementing Red Rocks Central guidelines, strategies, and training protocols at the campus level as defined by the Central Production Director.

Work with the Central Production Director on special events and other projects beyond the local campus needs.

Work with Red Rocks Austin Leadership Team and WEX (Weekend Experience) Team Lead to create capital / operating budgets, needs assessments, requests, and abiding within the allocated budget.

Structure and build a team for set-up / Tear down of a future location(s).

Design production needs, assessing current assets for future location(s) and auditorium improvements.

Consistently explore improvements to online church experience (volume, direction, mix, etc.).

HIRING REQUIREMENTS : 1. Follower of Jesus Christ, with proven leadership and discipleship skills. 2. Demonstrated ability to utilize planning, analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to multi-task. 3. Proficient verbal and written communication skills and be able to inspire small and large groups to action.
