Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical laboratory practices. Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data management. Experience with ELISA, immunoassays, and other laboratory techniques. Familiarity with aseptic technique and proper handling of biological specimens. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to ELISA, immunoassays, and other diagnostic tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various tests and experiments.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all laboratory processes and results.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) to track and manage test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and procedures.
