Applebee's is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Producer to join our team. This role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Social Media, involves working collaboratively with the social media and PR teams, as well as external agency partners, to write, produce, guide, and develop social media content and strategies across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in telling our brand's story and fostering meaningful community connections with our social media fan base.
This role demands a passion for storytelling, a keen eye on digital trends, and the ability to turn analytics into effective social media strategies and content. The Producer will produce diverse content, including videos, photos, graphics, and written posts, and will confidently spearhead innovative campaigns across major social media platforms. Balancing content creation, strategic planning, campaign execution, and performance analysis, this position ensures the brand consistently delivers top-tier digital experiences.
Responsibilities :
- Content Creation : Develop, produce, and edit social-first and engaging content in various formats, including videos, photos, graphics, and written posts, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and objectives for sharing across the brand's social media landscape.
- Culture Trends and Opportunistic : Stay ahead of digital trends and seize opportunities for brand content and engagement. Partner with brand social team and social agencies for rapid content creation, editing, deployment, and response.
- Campaign Execution : Create and execute original social concepts from start to finish for campaigns and brand activations to drive engagement and brand affinity across major platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Platform Expertise : Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, SNAP, and LinkedIn, with a constant pulse on emerging platforms.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the social media strategy lead, marketing and PR teams, and external agency partners in the ideation, planning and development of organic social content and strategies.
- Brand Storytelling : Play an integral role in telling Applebee's brand story and fostering meaningful community connections with our social media fan base. Provide real-time content and live social coverage of events, as needed.
- Analytics and Reporting : Demonstrate an understanding of social media KPIs and translate analytics into actionable social media strategies and tactics. Regularly report performance metrics to key stakeholders. Collaborate with the social team to ensure all content is relevant and evaluate performance metrics to maximize engagement, reach, and awareness.
- Paid Social Content : Support external agencies in the development of paid social content, which may include on-site production.
- Community Engagement : Hone the brand voice and engagement on social media channels, creating customized content pieces and leveraging existing content to drive social media goals.
- Performance Analysis : Balance content creation, strategic planning, campaign execution, and performance analysis to ensure the brand consistently delivers top-tier digital experiences.
- Additional Duties : Support the broader marketing team with content creation as directed.
