Position : Mechanical EngineerPrimary Function : Design, develop, and improve production equipment, automated systems, and processes, supporting innovation and efficiency in manufacturing and engineering operations.Key Responsibilities : Design and develop custom-built mechanical, chemical, and manufacturing systems, including tools, fixtures, and automation solutions.Conduct system simulations, testing, and troubleshooting using tools like UNISIM, MATLAB, ANSYS, or CAD software (Creo, AutoCAD).Manage projects, including cost estimation, scheduling, and maintaining budgets.Collaborate with stakeholders on design reviews, lean manufacturing strategies, and process improvements.Oversee system assembly, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including detailed drawings, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.Analyze workflows, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions for increased efficiency.Source materials, manage suppliers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.Support site construction, system integration, and manufacturing process enhancements.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related discipline); advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in system design, process engineering, and lean manufacturing.Expertise in 3D modeling (e.g., Creo), industrial automation, chemical processes, and machining practices.Proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, and PLC programming is a plus.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.Knowledge of industry standards (ANSI, ASME, OSHA, ISO) and lean manufacturing principles.Skills : Innovative thinker with hands-on prototyping abilities and technical competency in industrial components.Team-oriented with excellent communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Practical knowledge of safety protocols, feedback control systems, and process optimization.
