Project Leadership
Own projects from start to finish, keeping them on track and holding teams accountable for results.
Technical Direction
Set the standards for how things are done technically—advocate for best practices and continual improvement.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HLA & System Integration
Provide deep expertise in putting together complex systems with multiple components.
Manufacturing Process Development
Design, improve, and support manufacturing processes for new or updated electro-mechanical products.
Problem Solving & Process Optimization
Fix issues and drive improvements on the manufacturing floor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with design, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth, compliant manufacturing.
Documentation & Technical Specs
Create detailed assembly instructions and technical documentation (e.g., torque specs, assembly sequence, etc.).
Communication & Leadership
Present technical findings clearly, guide junior team members and coordinate with global teams and CMOs.
Must-Haves :
Experience : 8–10 years total, with at least 5 years focused on High-Level Assembly (HLA).
Strong background in manufacturing complex electro-mechanical systems.
Documentation Skills : Able to write detailed assembly instructions (e.g., torque values, screw types, sequences).
Regulatory Experience : Worked in regulated industries—medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
Communication & Assertiveness : Can confidently challenge R&D when designs don’t align with manufacturability and communicate effectively with production teams.
Nice-to-Haves :
Industry : Experience in the medical device field.
Global Experience : Worked across different cultures and time zones.
CMO Experience : Familiarity with outsourced manufacturing partners.
Education : Master’s degree in Engineering.
