Eaton’s AER Aerospace Group division is currently seeking a Global Market Intelligence Manager. This is a Hybrid-Remote role (2 days work from home each week) that can be based out of any of Eaton's Aerospace locations in the United States.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $138086.28 - $202526.54 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do :
The primary functional of the Global Market Intelligence Planning Manager role is to provide global leadership of market research and assessment to assist the strategic decisions of the Aerospace Group and to be responsible for the creation, publication and maintenance of the Aerospace strategic plan. This will be done through providing visibility and risks / opportunities of market drivers as it relates to Eaton’s business, identification of leading indicators / trends to explanation of Eaton’s business versus primary market indicators. The position will also be responsible for working closely with the divisional business development and strategy teams to harmonize and publish the overall annual Aerospace Strategic Plan. This position also includes the assessment of Aerospace Group major competitors. Additionally, this position will be responsible for generating market forecasts based on external and internal inputs, and leading the aggregation and analysis of topline global sales forecasts.
Job responsibilities :
- Market research and analysis : Development of monthly market overviews and implications to Eaton business. Customer and platform life cycle analysis. Generate an Eaton forecast and positive / negative scenarios to provide leadership with clear market overview to develop strategies
- Performance analysis and comparison : Monthly & quarterly analysis of Eaton’s business versus market growth rates. Requires the ability to concisely communicate Eaton’s business trends vs. end markets.
- Profit Planning : Leadership to support the aggregation and analysis of aircraft production forecasts and market segment growth rates, including identification of risk and opportunity, in support of financial planning.
- Strategic Planning : Lead the market outlook and trends of the Aerospace Group strategic plan and support development of key strategic initiatives and deep dives (as needed). Assist in development of materials to be used in communicating the Strategic plan across the organization in a consistent way.
- Business case development : Supports Product Teams, Sales, Finance and Operations with business case development through market analysis, including : macroeconomic analysis, market acceptance and trends of technologies, production / sales forecasts, customer news and geographic trend analysis
- Business Development : Support Business Development teams for executive presentation and review on key projects
- Competitive Analysis : Lead competitive deep dive analysis process of major Aerospace Group competitors and peer / competitive analysis across Aerospace Group product lines
