You will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. You will be responsible for GL accounting, inventory management, cost accounting, A / R, A / P, fixed assets, lease accounting, and treasury / cash management. Your hands-on approach will drive process improvements and efficiencies to support our growing business. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities :
Directly manage day-to-day and monthly transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, costing, and the overall general ledger.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analyses.
Partner with the financial reporting team to analyze the impact of new accounting guidance and support intercompany accounting.
Lead a high-performing accounting team, ensuring key goals and outcomes are achieved through regular performance management.
Collaborate with the technical accounting team to analyze new accounting guidance and evaluate its impact on financial statements.
Streamline budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with the FP&A team.
Requirements :
Strong management and leadership skills, with a willingness to be hands-on and a thoughtful company-wide partner.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.
Exceptional knowledge of cost control principles, including GAAP.
Organized, detail-oriented, and exceptional time management skills.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with an active CPA license.
12+ years of progressive experience, including a mix of public accounting and consumer industries.
5+ years of experience managing accounting teams.
