STS Technical Services is currently seeking skilled and dedicated A&P Technicians to join our team in Clearwater, Florida . This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to contribute to a fast-paced aviation environment, ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft. As an A&P Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance and play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly.

Mechanic Qualifications :

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is required.

Ability to work independently and be on call, including nights and weekends, in a 24 / 7 operational environment.

Must be able to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol tests.

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain one.

Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver into small spaces within aircraft.

Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport for potential travel.

Learjet experience preferred.

Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities :

Be readily available for day or night work to meet the demands of the company’s operational schedule.

Travel domestically and internationally as required for maintenance activities.

Pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening.

Own and maintain a personal toolbox with general mechanic tools.

Accurately document all maintenance actions, equipment status tags, logs, and parts requests either on paper or electronically.

Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, technical manuals, and test procedures.

Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills to achieve maintenance goals efficiently.

Communicate aircraft status clearly to the team as necessary.

Perform all tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Supervision :

Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.

Performance Evaluation :

Performance will be evaluated annually by the Director of Maintenance.
