Assistant Controller (ERP & Epicor Experience Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our client’s growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with ERP systems Epicor, preferred), and a strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Heavily involved in the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Work closely with senior leadership to analyze financial performance, cost structures, and profitability trends.
• Lead financial reporting efforts and support external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within financial operations to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to financial reporting and tax filings.
• Support ERP system optimizations, enhancements, and Epicor integrations to streamline accounting processes.
