Job Description

A major publicly traded company in the travel industry is looking for a data governance analyst to join a Process and Data Governance team within a crew planning org. This data governance analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the organization's data. This role involves developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards, as well as collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and effective data management. Overall, the Data Governance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's data is well-managed, compliant with regulations, and of high quality, enabling the organization to make informed decisions based on reliable data. The scope includes all Crew Management data within the Crew Management System. This person will be travelling domestically less than 25% but up to 10% of the time.

Skills and Requirements

• Reporting experience on a high level migration (such as taking data sets in excel)
• An enjoyment of puzzles and problem solving and a passion for process improvement
• 3+ years of experience in a data governance role
• Quick learning skills and a desire to find better solutions to problems -API Connection experience
• Understanding of Power BI
• Basic SQL querying proficiency
• Understanding of OCR technology null
