Janitorial Supervisor in Palo Alto, CA
Shift : Sunday-Thursday, from 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm. OR Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7 : 30am Pay $32-$41 / hr.
Job Description
The Janitorial Manager will manage, train, and inspect the performance of assigned housekeeping staff, ensuring that all procedures meet the unit’s standards. This role involves assisting with necessary tasks to ensure optimal service to clients and guests. The Janitorial Manager will have thorough knowledge of best practices for housekeeping activities, as well as the policies and values of our services and the client. The focus will be on meeting the client's needs using service-based solutions and best practices to exceed expectations. The Janitorial Manager will report to the Facilities Coordinator or Business Services Manager.
Responsibilities
- Check all equipment used by the team for proper supplies, orderliness, cleanliness, and possible mechanical problems. Instruct designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
- Assign designated keys, radios, and other properties to staff, maintain accurate records, and ensure the security of keys.
- Anticipate needs and recommend organizational changes for staff and services.
- Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities during daily team meetings.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure clean and organized spaces per account and client standards.
- Respond to emergencies at the facility as directed.
- Manage hourly staff performance, attendance, and work rule compliance.
- Conduct staff training when appropriate.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $41.00 / hr.
