Job description

Job Summary :

The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) division, is seeking an experienced and dynamic "Telecommunication Expense Program Manager - IT" to join our Enterprise Infrastructure and Communications team. In this pivotal role, you will manage several of the State's critical managed services contracts, including Telecommunications Expense Management and AZNET. You’ll leverage your expertise to conduct in-depth audits, perform comprehensive data analytics, oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and deliver exceptional customer support, resolving billing and outstanding contract issues with precision. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the efficiency and success of state operations!

Job Duties :

  • Perform on-going assessment and analysis of the AZNet and TEM program projects using repeatable standards and practices where applicable, but may require defining new approaches. Ensuring all agreed upon service levels and customer requirements are being met. Proactively and routinely identify, mitigate, and report program risks
  • Perform on-going invoice approvals, assessment, audits and analysis of cost and benefits of existing TEM billing infrastructure and identify and recommend implementation of creative solutions to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Agency relationship - Communicate with multiple stakeholders, each with different reporting needs and or requirements, scheduling weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings maintaining a high level of organization and prioritization skills
  • Responds promptly to customers needs : taking a customer-centric approach to problem solving, solicits customers feedback to improve service and responding to service and assistance requests

  • Selective Preference(s) :

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 or more years of experience in project coordination, project management and program management (or equivalent experience)

    Retirement :

  • You will be required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) upon your 27th week of employment, subject to waiting period. On or shortly after, your first day of employment you will be provided with enrollment instructions and effective date.
