Stansell is seeking a talented  Accountant  in our  Odessa, FL  office to join our team!

We are a General Contractor specializing in commercial construction in the restaurant & retail industry across +20 states with many global brand partnerships and within a culture of Customer-Focused Construction. The Accountant position is a full-time position and will contribute with well-rounded construction experience to our team.

Position Summary :  This position is responsible for supporting the accounting functions of the company to include financial reporting, job costing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work closely with project managers and senior management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

We work with highly respected national restaurant clients and professionalism and high standards for client interaction are crucial. Our culture is Customer Focused!

Duties and Responsibilities :

• All aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with preparation of documents for annual audits.
• Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Monthly & quarterly GL reconciliations.
• Prepare billings (Draws).
• Financial analysis as requested.
• Prepare sales tax filings.
• Annual 1099 reporting.
• Various miscellaneous projects as requested.
