Overview
A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and analysis at the plant level. This hands-on role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader to manage accounting functions, support operational decision-making, and ensure compliance with financial standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis :
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedural standards.
Develop, maintain, and analyze departmental budgets, creating periodic reports to compare budgeted costs against actual results.
Prepare and deliver management reports, including financial statements.
Assist in the development of the annual budget.
Identify and resolve inventory issues, including scrap, shrinkage, obsolescence, and valuation concerns.
Supervise accounting staff, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations and financial integrity.
