This role requires operating material handling equipment, using inventory software, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities : Perform material handling tasks such as stocking, picking, and issuing parts.Prepare products for shipment and ensure accurate labeling and stocking.Operate manual and powered material handling equipment, including forklifts.Support inventory cycle count audits and maintain accurate inventory records.Use computer software to track and manage inventory.Follow safety protocols and address potential hazards.Assist in shipping, receiving, and clerical duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements : High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, or inventory control is desired.Forklift experience and certification (stand-up / reach truck experience is a plus).Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Skills Required : Familiarity with inventory management or manufacturing best practices is a plus.Ability to read a ruler and tape measure accurately to 1 / 8th of an inch.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Professionalism, courtesy, and a strong work ethic.Physical Requirements : Ability to stand or walk for up to 70%-85% of the workday.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, and climb stairs as needed.Compliance with PPE requirements in designated areas.Internal and External Interaction : This position involves interaction with team members, supervisors, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory management.TO APPLY, PLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME TO [email protected] OR CALL 913-721-8655 FOR MORE INFORMATION.Join our team as an Inventory Clerk in Olathe, KS!
