Design EngineerLocation : South Bend, IN, surrounding areaOverview : We’re seeking a talented Design Engineer to develop innovative machinery and equipment. This role combines hands-on testing and prototype development with CAD design to create solutions that meet customer needs. If you’re driven by taking ideas from concept to production and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.Key Responsibilities : Lead the design and development of products from initial concept to production.Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and engineering change notices.Support manufacturing with technical insights and provide updates to customer service teams.Ensure quality control for prototypes and early production models.Drive continuous improvements for existing products and processes.Required Skills & Experience : Strong background in operating and designing mechanical systems or machinery equipment.Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Creo / Pro E preferred).Experience with fluid power and DC electrical systems.A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related Engineering field.7+ years in equipment or machinery design, with 3+ years of project management experience.Requirements : Work onsiteIf you’re passionate about problem-solving and creating impactful products, join us and make a difference!
