Interior design assistant Jobs in Washington, DC

Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking Interior Design Support based in Washington D.C. This position is onsite and has a duration of four months with the possibility of being extended. Pre Employment Drug Screen will be Required.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting our efforts with a transitioning government entity. The main responsibilities of the role include :

• Assist Government staff with performing walkthroughs of buildings on the White House Complex and conducting room and space surveys.
• Assist with developing / presenting space plans and furniture layouts that address the programming / customer requests.
• Assist in the development of detailed drawings, renderings and presentations using computer software to visualize and present design concepts.
• Contractor shall assist in market research to specify contract furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes while adhering to budgetary constraints and government procurement guidelines.
