What would you do as a Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at Sentrillion, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of our borders. Your responsibilities will encompass the analysis, reporting, and mitigation of security controls and vulnerabilities, adhering to both company and government security standards. To excel as a Security Engineer at Sentrillion, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, System Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of six years of experience in IT architecture, security, infrastructure, and cloud development is essential, along with four years of network administration or IT systems experience. Proficiency in security systems-including firewalls, IDS, antivirus, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering-is crucial for effective threat mitigation. Strong knowledge of government security principles, techniques, and protocols is required, as is experience integrating security checks within CI / CD pipelines. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in secure coding practices and threat modeling, enabling them to contribute to the development of robust security measures that protect sensitive information across diverse platforms.
