Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other coatings to a variety of surfaces, including machinery, equipment, and structural steel. The role requires precision, knowledge of various painting techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, sanding, and cleaning.
Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired hues and shades.
Inspect and maintain painting equipment and tools.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
Document work performed and materials used.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
Ability to stand, climb, and bend for extended periods.
